FILM NIGHT
Thursday, July 17th, 2008
"The Yes Men"
This humorous documentary follows two regular guys, Andy and Mike, who pretend to be corporate executives in order to expose corporate evil. They mimic members of the World Trade Organization at various settings across the globe as they mock controversial ideas about globalization. Andy and Mike refer to their pranks as "identity correction." The bizarre facade gets started when the members of The Yes Men create a website that looks strikingly similar to the actual WTO site, resulting in the group being invited to high-level business trade meetings and being mistaken for WTO officials.
This film is rated R.
